Part-Time Operations Assistant | Real Estate & Short-Term Rentals
20-30+ Hours Per Week, with room for growth
Paid hourly + Mileage reimbursement
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and creative Operations Assistant to join our growing team and work directly alongside Kirklyn Powell — a Nashville-based entrepreneur who owns and operates a luxury short-term rental management company (Elevay & Co.) and a real estate team (Ark Property Group).
This is an in-person role for someone who thrives on variety — no two days will look the same. You’ll be the on-the-ground operator ensuring both businesses run smoothly, look their best, and stay deeply organized behind the scenes.

Who You’ll Work With
You’ll work directly with Kirklyn Powell and his team. You’ll collaborate with our VA, vendors, cleaners, photographers, and clients to ensure our homes and listings meet the standard of excellence both brands are known for. This is a fast-moving, hands-on role where communication, reliability, and an eye for aesthetics are everything.
Responsibilities:
Assist with real estate operations such as coordinating vendors, dropping signs / lockboxes, delivering marketing materials, etc.
Collaborate with Kirklyn and team on brand-aligned marketing campaigns. Help ideate content, gather photos/videos, write captions, schedule posts, and continue to build a consistent and aesthetic brand.
Creating social media graphics, campaigns, and eblasts via Canva or Photoshop.
Conduct property walk-throughs and inspections between guest stays to ensure homes are clean, staged, and on-brand (lighting, scent, linens, amenities, etc.).
Internal Coordination with our team, vendors, cleaners, maintenance, photographers, etc.
Create systems to keep track of inventory in each home; work with our team to restock homes as needed which includes moving supply orders.
Support Kirklyn with onboarding new properties by documenting inventory, setting up the home, unboxing orders, etc.
Support Kirklyn with occasional guest communication or minor mid-stay coordination issues with professionalism and empathy.
Support Kirklyn in creating or optimizing systems to track turnovers, property issues maintenance, etc.
Support Kirklyn and team by sharing expenses, receipts, or notes for monthly owner reporting and escrow reconciliation.
Organize digital systems: Google Drive, Trello, Notion, Slack, Etc.
Assist with errands, deliveries, events or personal tasks (client gifts, photo shoots, etc).
Communicate clearly and consistently with Kirklyn and other team members, providing updates and reports on property or project progress.
What we’re Looking For:
Based in or near Nashville, TN – this role requires local, in-person work (not remote).
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license (mileage reimbursed per IRS standards).
Detail-obsessed and organized – you catch the fingerprints, fix the wrinkled beds, and make sure every light bulb works. This is crucial for this role.
Creative eye – you care about curated aesthetics, design, branding, and the feeling a space or a brand creates.
Fast-thinking, cognitively agile, and emotionally intelligent – able to keep up with a high-capacity environment, pivot quickly, and read people and situations with awareness and empathy.

Brand-aware – understands that polish, tone, and presentation reflect the standard of the business and takes pride in representing it well.
Hungry to grow – this role has significant long-term opportunities and growth as both companies and Kirklyn’s personal brand continue to grow.
No real estate license is required to apply, but having an openness to obtaining one in the future would be a bonus (at company expense).
Bonus Points If You have:
Experience in Airbnb / short-term rental management.
Background in real estate, hospitality, design, or marketing.
Experience in managing teams, coordinating projects, running operations, etc.
Growth Potential
This isn’t a task-based position — it’s a launchpad. You’ll be trained directly by Kirklyn and have the opportunity to grow with both brands. The right person could evolve into a full-time Operations Manager or Director of Operations as the companies continue to scale.
